I didn’t want to delete this Sketch Friday, but it didn’t seem appropriate where it was in the archive. So what I did was move it back to the end of the Miharu x Makoto date. Seemed like a good place for it to be since a nice little kiss is just what was needed!
Original notes: I figured I would try something different this week. Here’s a little animation of Miharu and Makoto. It’s extremely rough and not great (I hardly ever do any sort of animation), but I hope you enjoy it just the same! I might try my hand at more of these little clips when I have the time. It’s kind of neat to see the characters move.

So cute! ^_^!
Love IT!
I’m excited to see the finish version. <3
Delightful and a nice surprise! You should do more. Thanks, Gina!
Very nice!
They have matching piercings ^-^
The roughness adds charm. I like it.
I would prefer it with our other male protagonist, but to put something like that would be leading us Kazuo fans on and expecting change sooner rather than later. It’s not that I don’t like Makoto, I just find that ultimately he’s not going to be the ending love interest because first guy always wins, even with someone who approaches love so beautifully and delicately like Gina does. It’s almost ENTIRELY unavoidable, and I’d rather see us get back to Kazuo sooner than later. BUT, I’d rather see it done naturally, and Makoto and Miharu are too good together right now for them to break it off all of a sudden. So I’m not disliking this image.
That’s not always true. Sometimes the second guy wins- think Kairi/Kiley from Peach Girl
Oh, I know it’s not ALWAYS true. Take Ichigo 100% as well – the girl who wasn’t made out to be the lead love interest from the beginning ended up winning. But something tells me against Gina breaking the rule in this series. It just feels too cold dropping off Kazuo’s character.
But I’m not upset with this picture; it’s great, and different from the usual Friday art pics!
Gina, that’s so beautiful! It made me all warm with how adorable it is. I would love to see any other animations you’ve done, no matter how rough. <3<3<3<3
For a “very rough version” It looks awesome. Can’t wait to see the finished product!
KAWAII!!!
Wow Gina, I love the animation!! It would be really amazing to see this comic take on life i.e slowly making the transition to full animation. I know that would take a lot of time and energy so it’s not expected, but it would be neat to see this series go in that direction.
I love that! Mrs. Biggs, you did an awesome job! You are so artistically gifted.
Squee!! I love this!
It is amazingly cute! Just so adorable. Thumbs up!
