Red String is a romantic tale of destiny and self-discovery created by Gina Biggs. The series went live online on May 1, 2003 and is currently updates on Monday through Friday. The first three collected volumes of the series are published by Dark Horse Comics and may be found in any large chain bookstore. Volume four is self-published by the creator.

Gina Biggs was born in 1979 in a little place called Voorhees, NJ. At a tender age so young even she cannot recall, Gina started drawing. She is told her first drawings were of sharks, but cannot back that up with paperwork. Gina lived in South Florida for over twenty years where her skills developed and she became a teenager obsessed with drawing. With no formal training from school, she developed her skills on her own and decided she could no longer deny that her life was that of a comic artist. She is now a freelance artist and author currently living in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Gina has been creating comics since 1996. Her first series was Prophesy of Destiny and spanned ten issues before its completion. Her second work was the anthology series, Fractured Kisses, which featured romance stories from many female comic artists. Since then, Gina has gone on to produce Red String, Love of Sausage and Erstwhile.
