Why should I donate? Donations are a way to show your support of the comic and the artist. It is a way to say “thanks for years worth of free Red String comics.” Artists need to eat (while it’s nice to say “just let them eat paint” we do prefer food), sleep with a roof over our heads, and participate in all the other normal human needs. Donations allow to me to work on the comic full time and continue releasing updates every week. Aside from the squishie feeling you’ll get from knowing you’ve helped out this comic artist there’s also the squishie feeling you can get from receiving thank you gifts. |

(If you’re wondering why it has to be $1 or more, that’s because Paypal takes a cut of the money from each transaction, so I get less than you actually donate. Making the minimum $1 prevents me from paying for your donations.) Donations of $20 or more – Will receive a small mystery gift in their mail box in addition to the exclusive wallpaper. It could be a button or magnet, anything not available on the website. |
