It's finally time! The Erstwhile vol.2 kickstarter has launched. For those of you who are not familiar with my other work, Erstwhile is an anthology series adapting the lesser-known Grimm's Fairy Tales into comic form. I collaborate with two other awesome female comic artists and we each take turns illustrating a story. This is a FULL COLOR HARDCOVER book and collects six complete tales.

We are pleased to announce that our Amazon store is now live. There are a lot of books in there already and there are more that will be added in the future. The great part of this is that now you can buy Gina's books through Amazon and your order can qualify for free shipping if you are an Amazon Prime member.
Gina's adult titles are not listed in the Amazon store just now, but they are available directly through the Amazon Createspace store. All of the naughty goodness is now available for you to have in printed form, including the newest book, Riding Hood 2, which continues the adventures of Red and the Wolf.Comments | Add Comment

As you can tell, we are coming to the end of this long ten year journey. Ten years. It is quite amazing to think I have been working on this series for so long and that you have followed me to this point. There are a couple pages left to go, but I have something extra for all of you as well. Something I didn't think I'd be able to complete before the baby was born. There will be five pages of EPILOGUE story here on the site. So, next week, you will have FIVE DAYS OF UPDATES (Monday-Friday) and then the following week there will be THREE MORE PAGES (Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday).
Some questions I've received lately and some answers. The Red String website and the comic itself will remain online, so no worries about it disappearing. When the third omnibus and volume eight are ready to go, I will announce it here as well as on my other sites, twitter, tumblr, and facebook. I do not yet know the exact contents in regards to the extras that will appear in the final books, but I will let you know when I have more details. Yes, I will be doing more naughty comics for Red String over at Filthy Figments and will announce it when they are ready (most likely next year). And yes, they will eventually be collected into a second Little Red Threads book.
And there will, of course, be my new series, Demon Aid, starting up next week.Comments | Add Comment

As you all know, Red String is coming to the end of its ten year journey next month. Some of you will enjoy the ending, some will hate it. The important thing is that I appreciate your readership over the years and have had a swell time writing and drawing it for all of you. I am hoping you will come with me on my next comic journey.
DEMON AID is about to begin and you can now get a sneak preview at some teaser art and info at the new site. It will be launching on August 22, 2013, so bookmark the new site so you don't miss it. The comic tells the story of a demon mediator named Esta who helps the people in her city solve problems they encounter with demons, fairies, and magical maladies. Unfortunately for Esta, she finds herself with a demon problem of her own that she just can't shake.

Can it already be June?! This baby boy is getting closer and closer to being born! I am due August 23rd -- the day after Lucinda's birthday. How did we manage that, right? :laughs: Anyway, some folks have been asking, so I thought I would post the information here for everyone. Please understand I am not asking or expecting anything. However, if you would like to buy something for the little tyke, here is our registry info for Amazon.
On that note, I want to update you on comic things on this end. I am still trying like crazy to finish up Red String before the baby is born. I don't know if it will happen, but I would hate to go on maternity leave right before the finale. Though that sort of cliffhanger would be in my nature and ensure you all came back for the end! Nah, but seriously, I have finished up all my other side projects as of this week, so it's JUST Red String work from this point on. I know it's probably been frustrating these past few months with some of the late updates or only two updates some weeks. It's been frustrating on this end as well. I really want to get you guys to the end on time! I am hoping to be doing three pages a week until I can't lean over my desk anymore from my big preggie belly.
I'll be working on fulfilling the kickstarter sales as soon as the books come back from the printer. The hubby and I will probably enlist the help of some family and friends to do this, so we get that all wrapped up as well.
Thanks so much for your patience with me and thank you all so much for your support! It really means a lot that you have stuck with this comic after all this time. These past ten years have been quite a ride and I hope to have you along for my next comic adventure when Red String concludes.
EDIT: July is almost upon us and I am on week 32 of the pregnancy! I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I finally took a self photo so you could see the very pregnant artist. I know I talk about it a lot, but now you can kind of get a visual. Now you can imagine me hunched over my art and computer desks. It's quite the acrobatic feat! XD I also threw in a pic of kidlet number one we've got running around here. I can't believe she's almost two! Oh, and yes, we do have a name picked out for our little boy and we will totally announce it when he's born (as well as post a photo)!
